That’s right! At least us Puerto Ricans clap when we land at Puerto Rico mainly because it’s a tradition that’s been going for decades now and it’s mostly told to have originated from those who moved to the mainland early in the the 1940s and when they came back they clapped in celebration of being back home, and it’s been going since then. While others say it’s because they landed safely or whatever other reason some other countries say, that’s at least our case mostly. And even so, like in this flight, there’s some people who still clap no matter where they land.
@@sju_planespotter I to recall as a child with my parents decades ago on numerous PAN-AM flights to and from PR the anticipation of touchdown followed by loud clapping and many performing the sign of the cross. It was thrilling and is why I commented about it just hearing the applause on this landing. It took me back. Thank you kindly Sir for this upload.
Saludos, excelente video, para mi el avión sigue siendo un invento impresionante, feliz año nuevo para todos.
Gracias! El E190 es un avión muy agradable!
I miss taking those E190s with jetBlue (Orlando to Aguadilla)😭 I haven't flown on one in years, especially on that route.
I hope you get to experience flying on one of those again soon!

Never got the chance to fly AAs/US’ E190s but I did get to fly on the E175 for the first time last year, such a jet, just like any E-Jet, amazing!
We went from MCO to San Juan, Puerto Rico very early in the morning from December 23 to December 31 and we went to JetBlue airways!
Great to hear! Hope you had a nice flight!

Si es posible. Solo puedes tener celulares a la mano y tienen que estar en modo avión.
Gotta love, seems like Latinos are the only ones to clap on landing out of sheer relief.
